This position is located in the Investigations Division, Fraud Detection Office. The Division investigates allegations of bribery, fraud, abuse, and violation of civil rights and other laws, policies, and procedures that govern DOJ employees, contractors, and grantees. Working with prosecutors, the Division develops cases for criminal prosecution and for civil or administrative action. The important work of the Investigations Division results in arrests, criminal indictments, convictions or guilty pleas, and administrative actions against employees, contractors, grantees, and civilians.
