This Job Opportunity Announcement may be used to fill other Geographer, GG-0150-13 positions within the Census Bureau in the same geographical location with the same qualifications and specialized experience.
This is a Term Appointment, initial appointment is not to exceed (NTE) 2 years or 9/26/2020, whichever comes first, with possibility of extension.
A trial period may be required.
This position is ELIGIBLE for telework; additional criteria will be required (e.g., supervisory approval).
This is a NON-BARGAINING unit position.
Relocation expenses may not be paid.
This is an open continuous announcement. The initial cut off date for referral is April 9, 2018. After this date additional referral lists will be created as vacancies are available. This announcement covers multiple positions within the various directorates of the U.S. Census Bureau through March 25, 2019.
The individual selected for this position will:
- Monitor team's progress developing and implementing geographic projects and assignments.
- Analyze management information requirements for geographic programs or operations.
- Establish procedures and systems for assessing the effectiveness of geographic programs and/or management processes.
- Initiates, plans, and manages programs to correctly identify, collect, process or update spatial or address data.
