    Summary

    This position is located in the Public Affairs Office of NIST. The incumbent will be working with conferences on and off site. Managing registration, coordinating conference materials, developing and distributing post event surveys, and acting as a liaison to conference committee chairs and attendees.

    Responsibilities

    ZA-I: The incumbent will assist the NIST Conference Program Director and other team members in the coordination and support of conferences and other events. Primary duties include monitoring and tracking the NIST conference registration system and conference attendee databases. This individual will produce various reports and surveys as required. They will assist conference attendees from Government agencies, the private sector and academia and work with the NIST Program Chairs with meeting preparation, logistics, and on-site support. The incumbent will create badges, staff registration desks, and assist with any issues that may arise. Incumbent will also assist in creating meeting webpages, surveys, and the editing of promotional meeting materials.
