    Summary

    Area of Consideration:

    Current career, career conditional, or current employees eligible for consideration under non-competitive procedures or special hiring authority within the Interior Business Center in the local commuting area.

    This position is part of the IBC HRD Personnel and Payroll Systems Division, Payroll Systems Branch. The branch is responsible for providing, coordinating, and ensuring the financial and payroll development, testing, implementation, and maintenance of the Federal Personnel and Payroll System (FPPS) and related peripheral systems.

    Responsibilities

    • Analyzes functionality of the system to identify capabilities in relation to existing system needs, system deficiences, and recommends modifications or other solutions to the problem areas.
    • Serves as functional tester, ensuring validation and review of system changes.
    • Provides functional support to clients; responding to questions and issues to system areas.

    Travel Required

    Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel for this position.
