    Responsibilities

    As a Public Health Advisor you will:

    • Lead the development of local, State, national and/or international program operations and initiatives for assigned operating public health programs.
    • Formulate local, State, national and/ or international program and project goals, objectives, operating policies, strategic program plans, guidelines, standards and priorities.
    • Represent CDC at technical, policy and strategic planning meetings which entail meetings and coordination with collaborators and donor agencies.
    • Serve as the technical contracting officer's representative (COR) for grants, contracts and cooperative agreements.
    • Prepare, review, negotiate, and/or monitor collaborative agreements, contracts, and/or memorandum of agreements.
    • Oversee the development of work plans for implementation of activities and ensure submission and review of all required progress reports.

    Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel for this position.
