This position is located at the Armed Forces Retirement Home-Washington (AFRH-W). The position is located in Campus Operations, Armed Forces Retirement Home (AFRH) and reports directly to the Supervisory Contract Officers Rrepresentative (COR) for general guidance and instructions, and as required, for logistics coordination and problem solving. The Chief of Campus Operations will provide overall direction. As a Contract Surveillance Representative, you will:
- Serve as Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) for Transportation and Logistics, which include but is not limited to, contracts concerning On-Campus Transportation, Off-Campus Transportation, Non-Emergency Medical Transportation, GSA Leased vehicles, Golf Carts, Recreational Utility Vehicles (RUVs), Refuse Collection, Moving Services, and any one-time contract concerning the repair of the hardscape infrastructure.
- Monitor contract performance, verifiy billings for services rendered, and prepare and submit required reports to the Supervisory COR, the Accounting office and the Contracting Officer.
- Perform surveillance inspections as established by the Chief of Campus Operations, which are based on contract clauses and conditions, contractor work schedules, and nature of work to be performed.
- Perform Inspections based on random sampling techniques, planned sampling, l00% inspection, and customer complaints.
The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. Education Requirements:
The education generally must be from an accredited (or pre-accredited) college or university recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
