Help

The successful selectee will perform the following duties:

  • Serves as deputy IMS Program Manager and technical point of contact for ISO/AS/OHSAS command initiatives.
  • Ensure IMS processes are established, implemented, maintained, and monitored for compliance.
  • Establish, implement, and verify the development of command IMS initiatives in accordance with ISO/AS/OHSAS certification requirements and IMS Business Manual.
  • Collaborate with multiple levels of personnel to implement and sustain the command's certifications.
  • Advise FRC East management on business operations planning as it relates to compliance and certification sustainment.

Requirements:

Generally, current Federal employees applying for GS jobs must serve at least one year at the next lower grade level. This requirement is called time-in-grade. All qualifications and time-in-grade requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement and clearly documented in your resume.

Must be able to obtain an interim and/or final (e.g., confidential/secret/top secret, etc.) security clearance prior to entrance on duty AND must be able to maintain the required level of clearance while employed in the subject position. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.

Qualifications

In order to qualify for this position, your resume must provide sufficient experience and/or education, knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties of the specific position for which you are being considered. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) ensuring the Integrated Management System (IMS) processes are established, implemented, maintained, and monitored for compliance, 2) utilizing statistical techniques to prepare and sustain managerial support functions, such as planning, reporting, document, and data control, 3) coordinating yearly audits, completing certification events to satisfy contractural obligations, 3) advising management on business operation planning as it relates to compliance and certification sustainment, 4) recommending corrective actions and/or process improvements designed to sustain certification and maintains Integrated Management System (IMS) integrity.
