Summary

As a Community Manager/Category Project Manager, you will serve as a key member of the executive team and ensures that the mission and vision of the Office Management Category is aligned with all outward communication and marketing efforts.

The FAS category teams are responsible for all related contract offerings, customer and industry engagement, education, value added services, consulting, and execution of contract support. Category teams are charged with streamlining spend, increasing efficiencies associated with related procurements and saving the American taxpayer dollars.

Duties

Help

As the Community Manager/Category Project Manager, you will act as a consultant and advisor helping the Office Management Category Executive and senior staff plan and meet objectives and execute on strategic initiatives, including the following functions.

  • Works with senior level officials throughout the government to manage information, structure stakeholder engagement, facilitate communication and relationships, and enhance the effectiveness, through knowledge sharing, of category-specific acquisition.
  • As the project manager for the Category, incumbent develops and nurtures relationships to achieve a customized marketing strategy for a broad range of customers
  • Advises senior management representatives and top levels of FAS program offices, portfolios and other Agency management officials on a nationwide basis regarding process issues related to the representation and advancement of the core elements and key performance influencers.
  • Works closely with data analysts in the Category Team and uses agency spend analytics to develop account plans for strategic accounts.

  • Meet the minimum age limit
  • The work is primarily sedentary. Some work may require walking and standing in conjunction with travel and attendance at meetings and conferences with customers away from the work site. The work does not require any special physical effort.
  • The work area is adequately lighted, heated and ventilated. The work environment involves everyday risks that require normal safety precautions.

The GS-14 salary range starts at $109,174.00 per year.

If you are a new federal employee, your starting salary will likely be set at the Step 1 of the grade for which you are selected.

To qualify, you must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 level or higher in the Federal Service. Specialized experience is experience in leading projects which involved customer and industry engagement, education, and expansion of value added services for mission related products, services and/or support requirements for a large acquisition related organization..
