As an IT Specialist (Program Manager), you will:
- Serve as an IT Program Manager (PM), with responsibility for exercising management and operational control over high-risk NCUA technology programs. These programs support Modernization of Legacy Systems, IT Operations, IT Security and Special Projects.
- Plan, direct, and coordinate IT programs and apply knowledge of current, new and emerging IT technologies to formulate, design, implement, and direct major new IT initiatives or significant enhancements to operational systems in a financial environment.
- Monitor all program activities throughout the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC), taking action to avoid problems or delays, while ensuring accuracy and quality of project deliverables.
- Lead program teams in developing task order documentation such as Statements of Work, Statements of Objectives, and other documents for acquisition of IT contractor support.
Occasional travel - Travel may be required to give and/or attend training.
