    This position is located in the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, National Center for HIV, Viral Hepatitis, STD, and TB Prevention, Division of HIV/AIDS Prevention, Behavioral and Clinical Surveillance Branch, in Atlanta, GA

    Responsibilities

    As Epidemiologist, GS-0601-13 you will:

    • Identifies and analyzes public health issues and their impact on public policies or scientific studies or surveys.
    • Consults on, monitors, and measures the outcome of assigned programs through studies that evaluate the effectiveness of subject activities in meeting the needs of program participants.
    • Identifies and analyzes public health issues and their impact on public policies or scientific studies or surveys.
    • Participates in the syntheses of social science and epidemiologic data to be applied toward designing effective prevention programs and practice guidelines.
    • Disseminates results of research projects in a wide range of venues including publications, peer reviewed journals, summaries, manuscripts, and special reports.
