Help

As a Executive Officer, GS-0301-14, you will provide leadership and technical authority to the Director on OIT program and administrative management matters that affect the management of OIT by coordinating and leading programs in all of the following areas: program analysis, new systems integration, human capital management, financial management, organizational assessment/analysis, space management and other related areas.

Specifically you will:

  • Perform analytical studies to evaluate the effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement to existing financial operations.
  • Develop and maintain OIT attrition projections to provide OIT leadership with necessary plan for current and future staffing needs as well as potential funding needs.
  • Conduct studies and prepare analytical reports recommending new and improved methods of operation or users of existing resources and programs.
  • Direct the timely and accurate responses to correspondence requests and clearances on behalf of OIT.

Qualifications

ALL QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS MUST BE MET WITHIN 30 DAYS OF THE CLOSING DATE OF THIS ANNOUNCEMENT.

In order to qualify for the GS-14 , you must meet the following: You must demonstrate in your resume at least one year (52 weeks) of qualifying specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal government, obtained in either the private or public sector, to include: (1) providing guidance to leadership on administrative budget and/or operating plans; (2) assisting with the development of recruitment strategies; and (3) assisting with distributing team assignments, projects and deadlines for completion and/or program issues.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

Time-in-Grade: To be eligible, current Federal employees must have served at least 52 weeks (one year) at the next lower grade level from the position/grade level(s) to which they are applying.
