The selectee for this position serves as a SUPERVISORY LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the Industrial Supply Chain Department (SEA 04S) of NAVSEA OPERATION SUPPORT (Field Group) located at Washington Navy Yard in Washington, D. C.
This position is responsible for ensuring corporate industrial supply chain management policies and priorities are fully standardized and implemented at all four public naval shipyards and their supported maintenance activities to ensure the timely procurement and availability of non-nuclear equipment, components, repair parts and other materials required for depot maintenance and modification of Naval ships and submarines.

As a SUPERVISORY LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST, your duties may include and are not limited to:
**Develop acquisition management policies for procurement of goods and services.
**Oversee integrated process analysis to provide recommendations for streamlining acquisition or logistics processes of support or material.
**Develop budgetary strategies to achieve program objectives within resource constraints.
**Implement solutions, utilizing negotiation, conflict resolution or leadership skills, to obtain results that support organizational or mission requirements.

Must be able to obtain an interim and/or final (e.g., confidential/secret/top secret, etc.) security clearance prior to entrance on duty AND must be able to maintain the required level of clearance while employed in the subject position. Selectee may be required to complete a one-year supervisory or managerial probationary period.
