    JOB DESCRIPTION: Public Affairs Officers develop and execute integrated communication plans to build awareness and support for policy decisions and Agency initiatives. They develop and execute media and community relations programs, stakeholder communication plans and programs, and NGA's internal and external engagements. They advise NGA leadership on likely public and employee reactions to Agency policies and programs. They identify communication needs, develop and produce a wide range of tailored informational products, and evaluate the effectiveness of communications plans and programs.

    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: The selected candidate will function as a public affairs specialist. This assignment offers direct and frequent interaction, visibility and involvement in key issues with the leadership of NGA, NGA key components and worldwide NGA partners and customers. This assignment offers exposure and involvement with priority national security issues facing the Department of Defense and the Intelligence Community. The team works in a fast-paced, high-tempo environment with frequently changing and sometimes conflicting priorities and tight deadlines.
