    Responsibilities

    A Fuels Module Leader (GS-07, Supervisory Range/Forestry Technician) provides technical and administrative supervision to a Prescribed Fire/Fuels Support Module (PFM) crew. Plans work to be accomplished by the module. Prepares and trains crew in preparation of burn plans for wildland and prescribed fires, including field survey work in mapping and assessing fuels and vegetation. Provides instructions to crew, assists in work accomplishments and provides or identifies training needed.
