Help

The successful selectee will perform the following duties:

  • Integrates the development and use of branded, effective communication products into campaigns.
  • Sets up and utilizes industry-recognized traditional, digital, and social media monitoring and analytical tools to review and analyze reach and effectiveness of communication campaigns.
  • Assures the work of their assigned team is carried out by performing a range of coordinating and supportive duties and responsibilities.
  • Coaches the team in the selection and application of appropriate problem solving methods and techniques.
  • Leads the team in assessing its strengths and weaknesses and provides leadership to the team in exploring alternatives and determining what improvements can be made.

Qualifications

In order to qualify for this position, your resume must provide sufficient experience and/or education, knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties of the specific position for which you are being considered. Your resume is the key means we have for evaluating your skills, knowledge, and abilities as they relate to this position. Therefore, we encourage you to be clear and specific when describing your experience.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Qualifying experience includes all of the following: 1) Working with website content management systems, and a variety of social media channels (i.e. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube); 2) Keeping abreast of changes in the field and adapting those changes to improve internal and public perceptions of the organization; 3) Producing effective print, graphical, photographic, video and digital content; and 3) Assessing public reaction and identifying extent of understanding achieved to evaluate effectiveness of communication programs and information campaigns.
