OR
B. Have completed a master's or equivalent graduate degree or two full years of
progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B
or J.D., if related from an accredited college or university, in a related field such as Public Health, a medical field (nursing, emergency medical technology), life sciences, or emergency management. An academic year
of graduate education is considered to be the number of credit hours that the
school attended has determined to represent one academic year of full-time
study. This determination is made based on normal course loads for a full year
of study in the graduate program. If that information cannot be obtained from
the school, 18 semester hours or 27 quarter hours will satisfy the one year of
full-time study requirement.
OR
C. Have a combination of the experience and education described above. I have
more than one year but less than two years of graduate education described in
"B" and less than one year of the amount of experience as described
in "A", that combine to total at least 100%. (To compute the
percentage, divide your total months of qualifying experience by 12. Then
divide your semester hours of graduate education beyond one year by 18. Add the
two percentages. The total percentage must equal at least 100 percent to
qualify.) Please note that only graduate education in excess of the first year
may be used in this calculation.

the graduate program. If that information cannot be obtained from the school,
18 semester hours or 27 quarter hours will satisfy the one year of full-time
study requirement.

C. Have a combination of experience as described in "A" above and
education in excess of 2-years as described in "B" above. To combine

education as a percentage of the education required for the grade level.
Finally, add the two percentages. The total percentage must equal at least 100
percent to qualify. Please note that only graduate education in excess of the
first two years may be used in this calculation.
