The successful selectee will perform the following duties:

If either his/her fitness or conduct has been challenged, an official statement concerning the facts and circumstances together with any explanation that the applicant himself may wish to submit. The work is predominately sedentary. No special physical demands are required to perform to work.
A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if the selectee fails to report to any of the scheduled appointments and/or fails any applicable medical/agility/drug test, lacks the certification requirements, or is unable to obtain a security clearance.
Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.
Must be able to obtain an interim and/or final Secret security clearance prior to entrance on duty AND must be able to maintain the required level of clearance while employed in the subject position. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
This position is in the Excepted Service and does not confer competitive status.
