- Manages the OIG business collaboration service and system(s) that directly support this service. Configures, maintains, and supports the business collaboration system(s) and ensures all service level agreements (SLA) are met.
- Identifies the need for and conducts regular maintenance of the business collaboration systems including minor upgrades and software patching. Ensures systems are properly backed up and services can be fully restored within timelines identified in the SLA.
- Analyzes and resolves complex technical problems and trouble calls associated with the OIG business collaboration service and supporting systems.
- Maintains state-of-the-art knowledge of technology related to business collaboration.
- Identifies and evaluates relevant emerging technology and proactively engages in research and development efforts leading to improvement and enhancement of the existing OIG environment.
Occasional travel - Approximately 5% of work time will require travel.

QualificationsBasic Requirement: Applicants must have IT-related experience demonstrating the following competencies appropriate to, or above, the level of this position. Specialized Experience is defined as: providing business collaboration service management, server operating systems administration and business requirements; applying IT principles, methods, and practices to define, plan and manage complex large-scale multi-phased IT projects; utilizing Windows operating platforms (Windows Server, SharePoint, and desktop services) to manage business or engineering systems on large-scale, mid-tier or web-based systems; and serving as a systems administrator on application problems involving the integration and customization of COTS (Commercial Off the Shelf) products.
Volunteer Experience: Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates to paid employment.
