    Summary

    This position is located in the Department of Defense, Office of Inspector General (DoDIG), Office of the Deputy Inspector General for Audit (OIG-AUD), under the Assistant Inspector General for Acquisition and Sustainment Management (ASM).

    Responsibilities

    Performing long range financial or performance audit planning, surveying, and execution; overseeing and/or preparing annual audit plans, fact sheets, and draft and final audit reports; and ensuring audit reports and supporting working papers are accurate, timely, and in compliance with applicable regulationsMaintaining liaison and representing the OIG with internal and external stakeholders to include officials from other Federal agencies, nongovernmental organizations, foreign governments, and congressional staffSupervising staff; overseeing or directly assigning work; rating, rewarding, and holding employees accountable for performance through timely and constructive feedback; adhering to merit principles and equal employment opportunity regulations; and providing leadership, technical guidance, and staff development training

    Occasional travel - May require up to 25% of temporary travel duty (TDY)
