special initiatives and studies.

GS-11 Developmental Duties
· The primary purpose of this position is: to instruct within the Air University Teaching and Learning
Center's writing programs.
Develops and administers Writing Center tutor training programs.
· Develops and presents special programs that promote
development of good study skills and writing practices.
· Performs Writing Center Program
evaluation duties.
· Develops and maintains materials in
support of AUTLC Writing Center and AU educational programs.
Must be able to obtain and maintain the appropriate security clearance
Must sign a Participant Agreement
You will be in a trial period throughout the entire Pathways appointment
You will be required to provide proof of U.S. citizenship
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT/OTHER SIGNIFICANT FACTS:
You MUST reside in the commuting area of the position identified in the job announcement or be willing to relocate. Generally, this is identified as the area within which employees can be reasonably expected to commute daily between their residence and the duty station.
This position requires the incumbent to sign a Participant Agreement.
Qualifications
ELIGIBILITY FOR PATHWAYS RECENT GRADUATE PROGRAM:
Have completed all requirements for an associates, bachelors, masters, professional, doctorate, vocational, or technical degree or certificate from a qualifying educational institution within the preceding two (2) years. There are two exceptions:
Have completed all requirements for an associates, bachelors, masters, professional, doctorate, vocational, or technical degree or certificate from a qualifying educational institution on or after December 27, 2010 and before July 10, 2012.
OR Are a veteran who, due to military service obligation, was precluded from applying to the Recent Graduate Program during any portion of the 2-year eligibility period described above and have a full two-year period of eligibility upon release or discharge from active duty. (Note: This eligibility period cannot extend beyond 6 years from the date on which the individual completed the requirements of an academic course of study.)
IMPORTANT: The Pathways Recent Graduate Program has an education requirement. You MUSTsubmit copies of all transcripts to include transferred hours (Unofficial transcripts are accepted at time of application). If selected, you will be required to provide "official" copies of all transcripts used to qualify for the position. All education requirements must be completed within 9 months of closing date of announcement.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:
At least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower grade (GS-07) or equivalent obtained in either private or public sector that included knowledge
of the principles, concepts, and theories of General Education and Training,
and the standard practices, methods, and techniques of the occupation
sufficient to perform difficult, but well-precedented assignments. Knowledge of analysis, evaluation, fact-finding,
and investigative techniques in order to gather data, identify significant
factors, and recommend a solution from a number of possible alternatives. Knowledge of the occupation to perform
studies and prepare reports, documentation, and correspondence to communicate
factual and procedural information clearly.
