This position is located in the DOL, OIG, Office of Management and Policy, Division of Human Resources Management (DHRM). DHRM directs and coordinates all human resources management activities including but not limited to staffing, recruitment, position classification and management, employee relations, payroll, suitability, drug testing, benefits, training, human capital, work-life programs, and compensation in accordance with applicable Federal laws, regulations, standards, procedures, and policies of U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM), the Equal Employment Opportunities Commission (EEOC), the Merit System Protection Board (MSPB), the Office of Special Counsel (OSC), the Office of Management and Budget (OMB), the Comptroller General, and the Department of Labor (DOL).
This position serves as a senior personnel security specialist providing advisory services to all Office of Inspector General (OIG) managers, supervisors, and employees. The incumbent also serves as a point of contact with staff who may work with the incumbent in the development of internal cases and/or other employee integrity cases where Federal human resources management issues are germane.The incumbent serves as a subject matter expert (SME) in suitability and security matters related to disciplinary and adverse actions, medicals, drug testing, pre-employment check and inquiries (PECIs), and fitness-for-duty cases.
No Permanent Change of Station funds (PCS) or Relocation Incentive will be offered.
Position is at the full performance level.
