ASSESSMENT FACTORS

1. Demonstrated experience supervising or leading a staff of special agents, investigators, and other subject-matter experts including organizing multi-discipline investigative teams of law enforcement personnel to conduct or resolve complex investigative issues.
2. Demonstrated experience planning, executing, and coordinating multi-jurisdictional investigations with other Federal criminal investigative law enforcement agencies, DoD law enforcement entities, other Offices of Inspector General, the U.S. Attorney's Office, or state and local agencies.
3. Maintains and advances business partnerships with senior mission managers by providing substantive guidance and leading changes that ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of services.
4. Develops and employs strategies to analyze key issues, drawing conclusions from data and recommending viable solutions to address mission needs.
5. Effectively facilitates meetings, training sessions, or focus groups for information sharing, lessons learned, and problem solving

HIGHLY DESIRED SKILLS


1. Investigative experience, preferably in the Department of Defense, Intelligence Community, or the Inspector General community.
2. Experience using data mining techniques and analysis to identify and/or prevent fraud, waste, or mismanagement.
3. Knowledge or experience with contracting regulations, polices and procedures.
4. Graduate of the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) or equivalent.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

All Applicants must meet the following minimum qualification requirements in order to be considered for this position:

MEDICAL REQUIREMENTS: The duties of this position require moderate to arduous physical exertion involving walking and standing, use of firearms, and exposure to inclement weather. Manual dexterity with comparatively free motion of finger, wrist, elbow, shoulder, hip, and knee joints is required. Arms, hands, legs, and feet must be sufficiently intact and functioning in order that applicants may perform the duties satisfactorily. Sufficiently good vision in each eye, with or without correction, is required to perform the duties satisfactorily. Near vision, corrective lenses permitted, must be sufficient to read printed material the size of typewritten characters. Hearing loss, as measured by an audiometer, must not exceed 35 decibels at 1000, 2000, and 3000 Hz levels. Since the duties of this position are exacting and responsible, and involve activities under trying conditions, applicants must possess emotional and mental stability. Any physical condition that would cause the applicant to be a hazard to himself/herself, or others is disqualifying.
