WYOMING ARMY NATIONAL GUARD MEMBERSHIP IS REQUIRED:
This is an excepted position that requires membership in a compatible military assignment in the Wyoming Army National Guard. Selectee will be required to wear the military uniform. Acceptance of an excepted position constitutes concurrence with these requirements as a condition of employment. Applicants must currently be members in the Wyoming Army National Guard in order to be considered for employment.

Applicants' with a valid Warrant Officer Predetermination packet approved from the proponent must understand that if selected for this position, they will be required to sign a Memorandum of Understanding that failure to complete Warrant Officer Basic Course within TWO years of appointment will result in the termination of the technician position.
Enlisted applicant's military grade cannot exceed the maximum military grade authorized. Over-grade applicants must provide a written demotion statement of understanding with application, willingness to be administratively reduced in grade (state specific grade) if selected for this position. As an IT SPECIALIST (NETWORK), GS-2210-11, you will:
Plan, organize, and direct the activities of the organization (Joint Incident Support Communications Capability (JISCC)), ensuring that the advice and assistance provided complies with legal and regulatory requirements and meets customer needs.
Ensure the JISCC and other nonstandard communications used by the Wyoming Military Department for support to civil authorities are operational and accounted for.
Work in an office setting and requires deploying with the JISCC on short notice (2 hours) day or night in all weather conditions and operation in a field environment for extended periods of time.
Responsible for digital communications services planning, resource, policy, and standards development for the entire enterprise infrastructure.
Coordinate with the C4 work centers, local telephone companies, long distance service providers and other venders as required.
