You will serve within the S3/5/7 as an Operations
Specialist supporting the USAG Benelux APS mission. You will draft WARNOs, OPORDs, and FRAGOs in support of the Army
Prepositioned Stock (APS) mission; perform planning to support the execution of
contingency peacetime missions and force modernization, coordinates emergency
planning policies, and training evaluation programs to attain optimum maximum
use; review policy guidance and recommend changes for exercise plans, force
modernization and mass casualty plans; provide input and assist in drafting and
executing table top, functional, and full scale exercises; recommend long range
training objectives in terms of organizational structure, programs, and
milestones in order to meet the USAG Benelux training resource requirements and
training objectives; assist the APS site operations officer to accomplish
BASOPs, emergency and contingency peacetime missions and force protection
planning for the USAG Benelux; and assist in the force modernization
development.

Qualifications
In order to qualify,

Specialized
experience is experience in performing planning to support the execution of
contingency peacetime missions and force modernization; coordinating emergency

specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower
grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09).

Time in Grade
Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within
