The DoD Hotline is a National level which operates under DoD Directive 7050. Its mission is to to receive information pertaining to suspected threats to homeland security as well as allegations of fraud, waste, and mismanagement affecting DoD programs and operations at the local, national and international levels. The incumbent serves as a Senior Investigator, primary subject matter expert and principal advisor to the Hotline staff investigators and Director.

Requirements:
Position has been designated as Special Sensitive; incumbent is required to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI security clearance.

Specialized Experience: You must have at least 52 weeks of specialized experience at the GS-13 or equivalent pay system. Specialized Experience for this position is defined as: Demonstrated experience utilizing a high degree of originality and initiative in developing hotline policy, training hotline staff, analyzing hotline programs and processes and recommending corrective action for operational efficiency, developing long-range plans for hotline objectives, and conducting Quality Control Reviews of hotline cases and Hotline Completion Reports.
Candidates will be further evaluated on the level and quality of their experience and possession of the following relevant competencies in order to determine the level of your qualifications. These competencies include:
1. Skill in developing plans for assessments and evaluations.
2. Skill in evaluating allegations and analyzing evidence.
3. Subject Matter Expertise in investigations of fraud, waste, abuse, misconduct or mismanagement.
4. Skill in communicating assessments and result, both orally and in writing.
5. Skill in training investigators.
6. Knowledge of management principles and processes.
