The January 23, 2017, Presidential Memorandum, entitled "Hiring Freeze", ordered government agencies (including DoD Office of Inspector General) to freeze all hiring of Federal civilian employees. Positions have been designated as Noncritical Sensitive; incumbents are required to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
The incumbents of these positions are required to submit to urinalysis to screen for illegal drug use prior to appointment and are subject to random drug testing for the duration of service with the DoD OIG.
If you have not previously successfully completed a probationary period with the federal government in a similar position, you will be required to serve a two-year probationary period.

Specialized Experience: You must have at least 52 weeks of specialized experience at the GS-12 level in the federal service or an equivalent level. Specialized experience is defined as performing federal training and professional development duties such as development and presentation of classes; administration of training presentations; working with contractor-provided training; reviewing and approving training requests; using an automated system to track employee development; gathering and analyzing training program evaluation criteria; or participating in the design and delivery of professional development training programs.
