The Southern Arizona VA Health Care System is seeking two outstanding physician assistants to join our Primary Care and Community Clinics Care team. He/she will provide comprehensive primary care and preventative care to primary care patients, under the Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT) model. The type of care is served to the Veteran population with diseases consistent to those seen in the general population include, but are not limited to: acute and chronic illness, women's health, gender specific health care, mental health, mental health, and preventive care, along with coordination of care delivery. A major focus is in preventative medicine.
Duties include, but are not limited to:

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to physically and mentally perform the duties in a hospital setting under normal and emergent conditions. Heavy lifting 45 lbs and over with assistive devices, heavy carrying of 45 lbs and over with assistive devices; reaching above shoulder; use of fingers, both hands required, walking or standing up to 6 hours per day; repeated bending up to 2-4 hours per day; ability for rapid mental and muscular coordination; near vision correctable at 13" to 16" Jaeger 1 to 4 (one eye, glasses permitted),; hearing aid permitted. Incumbents may experience exposure to blood and body fluids
Basic Requirements:
