The Language Services Section (LSS) is a specialized unit within U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) that provides expert language services to USCIS and other components of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS). LSS is staffed by federal employees who provide translation, interpretation, transcription, and accuracy review services in support of DHS mission needs.
