The IRS is hiring entry-level, administrative positions in Fresno, CA.
We are hosting an in-person hiring event for these positions. In this role as a Tax Examiner, you will perform a variety of administrative tasks associated with tax return processing. Your job duties will vary and may include responding to taxpayer correspondence, resolving account issues, and reviewing tax returns for errors. The IRS offers in-depth training; no prior tax experience is needed.
You will need to apply to the job announcement provided to be pre-qualified. Then if qualified, you will attend the hiring event on either August 17th or 18th, to receive a tentative job offer and complete several pre-employment steps, such as fingerprinting.
