You will serve as the In-service engineering agent/information system security officer (ISEA/ISSO) for EXU-1 information systems (IS) in coordination with NSWC policy.
You will conduct information assurance for EXU-1 information systems identifying vulnerabilities associated with software and hardware upgrades.
You will implement DoD/Navy/Army certification and accreditation processes for information systems and maintain accreditation status of existing information systems.
You will develop information security requirements and document system security plans and contingency plans.
You will manage and maintain the security posture of all EXU-1 information systems to ensure safeguards are implemented to protect the data environment.
You will perform risk assessments and security tests and evaluations to identify and evaluate information assurance security vulnerabilities and determine mitigation techniques to deter threats.
You will generate and review defense information assurance certification and accreditation process (DIACAP) packages.
You will provide information assurance expertise and guidance to command departments and divisions.
Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

This position is designated as a Cyber IT/Cybersecurity Workforce position. You must obtain and maintain the credentials as described in SECNAV M-5239.2 for specialty area Security Control Assessor level advanced within 12 months of appointment.
Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing information security support, to include performing Authority to Operate procedures, for a DoD operational command or expeditionary force, to ensure security policies, procedures, or measures are correctly applied.
