You will serve as the Operations supervisor and be responsible for management, supervision, and oversight of manufacturing/plant operations.
You will manage and supervise engineering technicians and operations personnel to include performing standard personnel duties, conducting performance reviews, establishing development and training plans, and assigning tasking.
You will perform workload/leave planning, manage work assignments, prepare/coordinate for optimal operational effectiveness, maintain technical knowledge of manufacturing operations and equipment, performance management.
Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower pay bandNT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector managing technical engineering operations for energetic manufacturing (e.g., chemical synthesis, explosives formulation, wastewater treatment) to ensure delivered products meet quality and safety requirements for ordnance processing and development.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.

The salary range shown above represents all of the positions within the band, including high grade positions. This is not a high-grade position; therefore, the salary may be limited to a GS-13 Step 10 (currently $145,617).
This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program.
