Summary

You will serve as a ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the CUSTOMER BUSINESS SOLUTIONS BRANCH of the NAVSEA ERP BUSINESS OFFICE DIVISION of NAVSURFWARCEN IH DIV.

This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-4 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-11 and GS-12. The NT-3 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-9 and GS-10.

Duties

Help
  • You will serves as an associate on the Customer Solutions Team as part of the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Business Office (NEBO).
  • You will provide support to the NAVSEA Enterprise, both General Fund (GF) and Working Capital Fund (WCF), and other Commands.
  • You will provide end user help desk support for issues within the Navy ERP system, researching and analyzing problems utilizing knowledge of Navy ERP and NAVSEA policies, processes, procedures and system operations.
  • You will recommend solutions or recommend the escalation of trouble tickets that can't be resolved at the business office level.
  • You will perform root cause analysis of trouble tickets, identifying trends or common problems and make recommendations for resolution.
  • You will support the NEBO Customer Business Solutions Lead in performing functions that manage the processes surrounding the Navy ERP system.
  • You will perform Site Training Coordinator (STC) duties in the Navy ERP system including reviewing training request, validating user accounts, preparing and reviewing training material, and provide end user training.
  • You will analyze and evaluate training requirements, and perform monthly training audits to include Navy ERP Learning System (LS) and certified instructors.
  • You will support User Management efforts in roles and roles assignments and perform duties as NAVSEA Headquarters Government Security Manager(GSM) / Facilities Security Officer (FSO) in Access Enforcer.
  • You will support audit activities such as providing information for data calls or updating new processes.
  • You will perform functions to which authority is delegated to approve access for supervisors who will create obligations in the system for labor postings.

  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

FOR NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent): Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower pay band, NT-03 (GS-09/10 equivalent) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector analyzing and conducting studies of business system data to identify problems and recommend solutions to improve efficiencies and effectiveness of program processes or procedures in support of corporate operations.

FOR NT-03 (GS-09/10 equivalent): Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower pay band, NT-02 (GS-05/08 equivalent) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector compiling business data and reports to analyze system processes and procedures to assist in the development of process improvement recommendations.

Education

In lieu of experience, education may be substituted if one or more of the following are met:

FOR NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent):
1) Successfully completed a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree

2) Successfully completed three full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent degree
