Summary

You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the NAVSEA ERP Business Office; Corporate Operations Department of NAVSURFWARCEN IH DIV.

This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-5 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to a GS-13 and GS-14.

  • You will serve as a Financial Subject Matter Expert (SME) supporting Financial Module Teams as part of the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Business Office (NEBO).
  • You will provide support to the NAVSEA Enterprise, both General Fund and Working Capital Fund.
  • You will serve as a financial liaison to the Navy ERP Center of Excellence for the NAVSEA Enterprise.
  • You will provide effective customer service; following appropriate feedback mechanisms and processes; and making recommendations for service and process improvement.
  • You will be responsible for understanding financial policies and procedures supporting and providing feedback on business process recommendations for effective operations within the Navy ERP as well as with external interfaces.

  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower pay band NT-04, (GS-11/12 equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: leading or providing customer support for Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system or ERP system financial functions for service efficiency and process improvement.
