Duties

Help
  • You will be responsible for reviewing, verifying, and certifying the monthly Purchase Card statements of the Cardholders under his/her purview
  • You will ensure that all purchases accomplished by the cardholders within their cognizance are pre-approved, appropriate, and the charges accurate, in accordance with IOP and its references
  • You may also be the Certifying Officer for his/her Cardholders and in that capacity must certify the monthly billing statement and forward it to the appropriate office for payment.
  • You will coordinate Purchase Card operations for assigned Departments
  • You will oversee and provide guidance to Purchase Request Creators
  • You will oversees account usage and compliance, and interface with Financial Offices as required

  • This is a bargaining unit position.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time
  • You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.

Qualifications

Your resume must reflect one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower pay band NT-03 (GS-09/10 equivalent) grade level in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector analyzing purchase card transactions in order to reconcile credit card billing statements, review credit cardholder monthly statements or verify and authorize payments in support of Government Purchase Card Program.

OR

Substitution of Education or a combination of education and experience equating to one year of experience.
