You will be responsible for Occupational Safety and Health programs.
You will conduct surveys, periodic inspections and special studies of industrial operations, trade shop workplaces, ordnance explosives production facilities, and operations where toxic and flammable liquids, gases and chemical materials.
You will evaluate personal protective equipment to determine compliance with regulations.
You will evaluate workplaces to determine environmental health risks, exposure levels and make technical recommendations of findings.
Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate: For the NT-04 Position: at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-3
(GS-9/10 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Assessing safety and occupational health program regulations to ensure workplace safety.
For the NT-03 Position: at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-02 (GS-7/8 Equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Analyzing or evaluating industrial safety practices through the use of safety and occupational health surveys.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
