You will serve as the Branch Head of the Prototyping Branch within the EOD Systems Division of the Naval Surface Warfare Center Indian Head Division.
You will manage, direct, and assign the work of a multi-disciplinary staff of technical, manufacturing, and support staff engaged in accelerated development, prototyping, and small scale production.
You will be responsible for all aspects of branch operation to include, job tracking and processes management, financial tracking and management, employee development and training, and machine/tool maintenance and upgrade.
You will be responsible for ensuring the safe execution of all work internal to the branch in addition to ensuring the quality of all delivered prototypes and products.
Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

Qualifications

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing Technical Engineering and programmatic leadership for prototyping or machining operations (e.g. Computer Aided Design (CAD) and Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM) Software, Additive Manufacturing / 3D Printing, Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Machines, Lathes, Mills, and other traditional metal working techniques.) to ensure product quality."
