Summary

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY ADMINISTRATIVE TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the Systems Integration Division - Operations, Material & Supply Office of NAVSURFWARCEN IHEODTECHDIV.

This position is within the Warfare Demonstration Project. The NT-05 pay band encompasses the GS-13/14 pay grades. This position is not high-grade, therefor the salary is limited to the GS-13 step 10 grade level.

Duties

Help
  • You will oversee the receipt and issuance of OMS (Operating Materials Supplies) at all G Department operating locations (Picatinny, Louisville and WPNSTA Earle).
  • You will work with Code 107 and the Navy Service Logistics Center (NSLC) to make sure G Department OMS oversight and handling appropriately supports the G Department mission.
  • You will oversee the receipt and issuance of OMS at all G Department operating sites and serve as subject matter expert for all OMS related issues to include carcass tracking, 7H fleet returns, and the resolution of unmatched disbursements
  • You will track schedule, and performance for the NSLC warehouse and oversee GM personnel, including the G department transportation team.
  • You will work to develop strategic partnerships with other agencies, and will identify problem areas to be studied or analyzed and make recommendations for corrective action.

  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time
  • You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level NT-04 or GS-11/12 in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing logistics management work analyzing the receipt and issuance of Operating Materials and Supplies (OM&S).
