  • Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • Some walking and climbing of stairs is necessary within the building and around the university. There is occasional exposure to the weather for delivery of documents to the university and program support offices.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver?s license.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Maintain filing systems of various records; 2) Enter data into automated database systems; 3) Review documents for completeness and compliance with established guidelines; and 4) Utilize office automation equipment and software in order to prepare a variety of forms and correspondence.
AND
This position requires the ability to type at least 40 words per minute. Your response to the typing skill question on the Occupational Questionnaire will be used in your qualification determination.
