Reviews engineering service requests submitted by customers and determines appropriate facility maintenance procedures.
Executes assigned projects from Cradle-to-Grave by planning, evaluating and developing current and future projects to enhance the effectiveness of small maintenance, repair, and construction for assigned facilities.
Schedules and conducts staff visits to all MEDDAC facilities on Ft. Richardson to monitor and evaluate facility conditions
Serves as a Contracting Officer Representative (COR) for Alaska medical facilities.
Develops and directs the Energy Conservation Program.
Supervise one WG-10 Maintenance Mechanic and one WG-05 Maintenance Mechanic Helper.
Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
This position has been designated Mission Essential.
This position requires shift work to provide coverage on evenings, weekends, holidays, or special situations.
Incumbent is required to possess or obtain and maintain a valid State Driver's License.
This position requires travel less than 25% between Fort Richardson and Fort Wainwright, AK.
