Salary includes applicable locality pay at the lowest step of the GS-07 level and the highest step of the GS-09 level.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). Specialized Experience GS-07: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-06 grade level in the Federal service which includes processing work orders for facility maintenance and repair; using computer software programs to track work orders for maintenance requests; scheduling equipment for repair, and forecast maintenance requirements for facilities and equipment. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06).
Specialized Experience GS-09: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-08 grade level in the Federal service which includes facility maintenance and repair; using computer software program for tracking repairs and life cycle replacement schedules; provide cost estimates for maintenance and repair of facilities and equipment; advise and provide recommendations to management regarding facility conditions and preventative maintenance. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-08).
