Duties

Help

Operates limited snack or juice bar operation. Prepares a limited variety of hot cold beverages such as brewed coffee, tea, and assorted juices by selecting proper ingredients and following recipe. Serves mixed beverages such as iced coffees, fruit drinks, etc. by selecting proper ingredients and following recipe. Serves other cold beverages and food items such as bottled drinks, juice, cookies, muffins, pastries, assorted wraps, and etc. Serves patrons directly, receives payment, operates the ALOHA (POS) system, and makes and returns change to patrons. Sets up work area for operations and obtains cash bank from the respective facility. Follows all cash handling procedural controls and accountability. Maintains that work area neat and clean. Sets up/cleans tables for customers and replenishes condiment items and stocks as necessary. Performs cleaning, scrapes, soaks, dishes and utensils as required. Also performs heavy duty cleaning tasks as required as follows: coffee and juice machines, under and behind equipment, refrigerators, washes floors and walls, sanitizes garbage cans and etc. May unload and organize stock from delivery truck. May unload and organize stock from delivery truck. Collects/transfers trash from work area to disposal area. Assists with inventories, identifies items for re­ordering. May be required to prepare documentation for cash funds accountability.

Qualifying Experience:
Must have experience in responsible clerical or office work, which includes demonstrated ability to perform common arithmetic problems, and to make change when receiving payments from customers. Must have experience in and knowledge of methods and procedures in the proper use of hand tools for cleaning and simple machines. Must have experience in knowledge of methods and procedures relating to food preparation and presentation gained in a grill, snack bar, restaurant, club or similar food activity. This is a heavily weighed position on the human relations side, so it is necessary to have a friendly, outgoing personality, ability to work with others as well as work in a diverse environment. Must be able to communicate clearly with customers, and possess skill in dealing with the public.

Education
