This position is located in the Small Business Administration, Santa Ana National Disaster Loan Resolution Center, in Santa Ana, CA. This Loan Servicing Assistant is responsible for assisting Loan Specialists in servicing or liquidating a full range of disaster business and home loans.

Duties

Help

  • Assists Loan Specialists involved in servicing or liquidating a full range of disaster business and home loans.
  • Responds to borrowers, guarantors and 3rd party phone calls for general/loan information and processes loan payments via pay.gov. Input all conversations with borrowers/guarantors in various databases.
  • Responds to written requests from banks and borrowers and other financial institutions.

Qualifications

GS-07: One year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-06 grade level in the Federal service, obtained in either the private or public sector: experience with residential and commercial loan programs and their collateral requirements; financial analysis of both personal and business documents to determine eligibility; analyze economic conditions and trends to enable proper collection and liquidation recommendations. These qualifications must be clearly referenced in your resume.
