Applicants will be responsible for various administrative tasks in support of Youth Center operations, to include, but not limited to, counting cash, completing daily deposit paperwork, explaining Youth Center procedures to parents, and assisting with monthly inventories.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.

Qualifying Experience:
Applicant must have experience in responsible clerical or office work which includes the ability to perform common arithmetic problems, and making change when receiving payments from customers. Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent and applicants must be able to communicate both orally and in writing.


Education

Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does allow for education substitution.

FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program. The 28th Force Support Squadron (28 FSS) manages various facilities and programs that contribute to the quality of life for members of the Ellsworth Community. The Base itself is one of only two B1 Bomber bases around the world, and in 2019 it was announced that Ellsworth was selected as the preferred location for the first operation B-21 Bomber and formal training unit.
