Work schedule
Multiple Schedules - This position is Mixed Tour. With a Mixed Tour work schedule, an employee may be changed between full-time, part-time and intermittent work schedules to accommodate fluctuating workloads and is subject to a signed agreement.

Provide training when required to staff, including on-site assistance as necessary.
Provide technical and administrative guidance to managers of the Area Census Offices (ACO) in order to assure timely, orderly, and efficient conduct of decennial operations.
Monitor the ACO recruiting operations by working closely with Census Partnership Specialists, Community Outreach, and Media Partnership Specialists, maintaining contact with appropriate referral services in order to identify recruitment efforts and resolve recruitment and publicity problems.
Serve as a technical problem-solver/troubleshooter involving daily telephone contact and regular visits to assigned ACOs and assigned geographical areas.

EDUCATION: One full year of graduate level education OR superior academic achievement. Education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work.
GG-0301-09 EXPERIENCE: You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the grade 07 level in the Federal service. Experience for this position includes: Experience assisting with the conduct of recruiting of applicants; experience making arrangements for training facilities; experience reviewing the work of office and field staff. Experience providing assistance in areas such as office automation, equipment and administrative operations as well as travel arrangements.
