As a Training Specialist, you will: -Provide authoritative guidance to the leadership team regarding needs assessments and training initiatives to meet requirements of assigned positions. -Develop and promote strategic initiatives that enhance training and productivity. -Develop and implement new training program methods and processes based on research and internal analysis. -Collaborate with manufacturing and support leadership teams to design, deliver, and evaluate the success of both new hire and continuing education classes for continuous improvement opportunities.

Qualifications
You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement.
For the GS-12, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes: - Developing / implementing new training program methods and processes; and - Designing, executing, and monitoring individual development plans for employees; and - Providing guidance to a team regarding training needs assessment.
In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable: For the GS-12, you must have been at the GS-11 level for 52 weeks.
