Navy Housing manages housing Navywide, including permanent party family housing and unaccompanied housing. Focused on assisting Sailors, both single and those with families, receive suitable, affordable and safe housing wherever they are assigned.
The Support Services Center supports the other four divisions and regional Fleet and Family Readiness Service Centers through a consolidation of management support functions, such as NAF financial management, marketing, training, NAF human resources, facilities and acquisition, information technology, and management evaluation and assistance.
Navy Wounded Warrior – Safe Harbor coordinates the non-medical care of seriously wounded, ill and injured Sailors and Coast Guardsmen, and provides resources and support to their families and offers individually-tailored assistance to ensure enrollees’ successful recovery, rehabilitation and reintegration.

Incumbent is responsible for purchasing tickets to sporting events and other special events that require tickets, such as movie theaters, concerts, fairs and festivals, historical sites, amusement parks, etc. This responsibility includes developing contact in various group ticket sales offices, negotiating best price, and writing purchase orders for tickets. Incumbent is authorized to sign consignment contracts/agreements. Incumbent establishes and maintains close working relationships with independent travel operators, restaurants, hotels/motels, and attractions, and conducts thorough surveys and analysis in planning and scheduling travel. Insures that all initial trip bookings and final arrangements, i.e., payment, rooming limits, manifests, guide instructions, etc., are completed and submitted in an efficient and timely manner. Prepares budget requirements for submission and approval. Implements proper budgetary accounting policies, which provide effective cost control measures that insure budget guidelines are met and that a minimum self-sufficiency of 100% is maintained for the travel and transportation program. Maintains accurate and current financial records. Responsible for collecting, handling, and control of ticket and travel funds and daily activity reports and end of the month billing. Supervises overall operation to ensure policies and procedures are adhered to. Collects fees from customers associated with sales of tickets, retail and rental items, as well as from classes, trips, and various other community recreation programs using Point of Sales (POS) and computer programs. Assists in processing customer Internet registrations (i.e. Net Near You), initial log-ins and event registrations. (20%) Net Near You), initial log-ins event registrations. Checks Community Recreation equipment and resources in and out, collects any applicable rental fees, inventories items and completes inspections upon return. Tasks include submission of event after-action reports, patronage data collection and database administration. Performs inventory of various types of equipment, retail goods, supplies and items deemed to have cash value. All administrative duties are accomplished through a variety of means, including computer software programs which track resource inventories, patron usage/comments, and program standards metrics. Assists with recruitment, training and scheduling of community recreation staff.
