The Intern will provide support for all logistics services, including the oversight of programs and contracted services to include: internal and external transportation services; vehicle fleet management and repair; freight traffic management; shipment of freight; mail distributions and delivery of materials, equipment and packages; acquisition of stores, stock, furniture, fuels, propellants, chemicals, and other hazardous materials; inventory, contract property, and equipment management; receiving and warehousing of stores, stock, supplies, hazardous materials, furniture, idle or excess property, and instruments; excess property acquisition, redistribution and disposal; solid waste, scrap metal removal, recycling, and custodial services; furniture management, including the coordination of acquisitions and moving services; safety and environmental related programs.
Pursuing a bachelor's degree with a minimum of 30 semester hrs completed.
Available to work at least 640 hours prior to completion of degree.
Expected completion date at least 1 calendar year from date of appointment.

To be eligible for this position, you must:
Be a U.S. citizen;
Be at least 16 years of age at the time of appointment;
Be enrolled (or accepted for enrollment) in an accredited educational institution leading to a bachelor's degree or higher with at least 30 semester hours completed;
Be enrolled at least half-time as defined by your educational institution; and
Have and maintain a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of at least 2.90 (on a 4.00 scale).
Have at least one calendar year remaining in your studies by the start date of the appointment. Graduation date is determined by the information provided by you, the candidate.
Your answers to the NASA Supplemental Questions will be used for initial qualifications. If you do not meet the position requirements based on your answers, you will not be considered for the position.
The grade level you qualify for is based on education: GS-4/1 ($30,543 pa) - Completion of 1 academic year of post-high school study leading to a bachelor's degree or higher (1 academic year is the equivalent of 30 semester hours or 45 quarter hours).
GS-5/1 ($34,171 pa) - Completion of 2 academic years of post-high school study leading to a bachelor's degree or higher (2 academic years is the equivalent of 60 semester hours or 90 quarter hours).
GS-6/1 ($38,091 pa) - Completion of 3 academic years of post-high school study leading to a bachelor's degree or higher (3 academic years is the equivalent of 90 semester hours or 135 quarter hours). The GS-6 level is the full performance level for undergraduate students.
