Duties

Help
  • (GS-13) Manage and maintain project cost, schedule, and performance data across assigned programs to support accurate forecasting and execution reporting.
  • (GS-13) Serve as the district subject-matter expert for P2 (PROMIS), ensuring data accuracy, standardized data entry, and proper system use by project teams.
  • (GS-13) Develop performance reports and dashboards from P2 and related systems to support leadership decision-making and program reviews.
  • (GS-13) Support Program and Project Managers with coordination and execution oversight across engineering, contracting, and resource management teams.
  • (GS-13) Prepare leadership briefings and performance materials for governance and program review meetings.
  • (GS-13) Help ensure projects remain aligned with scope, schedule, budget, and delivery objectives.
  • (GS-12) Analyze data from P2, RMS, CEFMS, and dashboard tools to monitor project and portfolio performance.
  • (GS-12) Develop standard performance reports and metrics to improve leadership visibility and decision-making.
  • (GS-12) Identify delivery risks, trends, and improvement opportunities across programs.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience.

TO QUALIFY FOR THE FPL GS-12: Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes supporting budget development and execution; reviewing guidance and coordinating with stakeholders to support program or operational activities; preparing reports and documentation for management oversight; using project management, financial management, or other automated systems as required; performing analytical work using multiple data sources; and contributing to workload projections, organizational assessments, or process improvement efforts. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).

TO QUALIFY FOR THE FPL GS-13: Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes developing and leading program or operational plans and initiatives in support of organizational goals; coordinating across organizations to interpret guidance and advance mission objectives; producing executive-level reports and decision-support materials; directing the use of data and automated systems to support performance oversight and business process improvement; conducting advanced analysis using multiple data sources to assess trends and risks; or leading development of workload projections, organizational assessments, or process improvement efforts. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).

Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.

FOR GS-12: Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).

FOR GS-13: Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
