Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintains and serves as primary administrator to all FSS online and digital marketing content under the direction of the Marketing Director.
  • Assists in maintaining the digital platform and prepares marketing materials of all types to be used across various online platforms.
  • Maintains current knowledge on emerging technologies and industry trends, makes recommendations and applies them to the squadron's marketing efforts.
  • Assists with the maintenance of the 19th Force Support Squadron website, including periodic and daily updates, public calendar maintenance, blog posting, and coordinates graphics to match visual design intent.
  • Assists the marketing team to develop and implement marketing programs for the squadron and other activities.
  • Assists with processing Marketing Requests.
  • Attends major FSS events and provides event marketing or promotional, as required.
  • May have to work weeknights or weekends.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.

Qualifying Experience: Must have experience in responsible office work which provided knowledge of basic computer operations. Possess functional knowledge and/or personal experience with website Content Management Software such as WordPress, functional working knowledge in web design and social media platforms is preferred. Must have basic working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite. Must have at least basic working knowledge of PC software packages to include PowerPoint, Word, Adobe Acrobat and Excel. Experience creating video content for social media is desirable, from concept to execution to publishing. Must demonstrate good customer service, strong communication skills, and ability to work with little supervision.

Education

FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program.
