Typical work assignments will include:
Providing IT customer service and support in troubleshooting, recovering, and resolving recurring software/hardware problems.
Managing accounts, network rights and access to systems and equipment.
Installing, configuring, and upgrading commonly used hardware and software systems.
Assisting in the configuration, installation, and maintenance of networked systems including hubs, routers, switches, bridges, servers, and related hardware.

Superior Academic Achievement: Successfully completed a bachelor's degree with superior academic achievement from an accredited or pre-accredited institution in computer science, engineering, information science, information systems management, mathematics, operations research, statistics, or technology management, and my education has equipped me with the competencies/knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of this position.
GS-09:
Specialized Experience: In addition to my experience demonstrating the four competencies above, I have one full year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-07 level in Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience is defined as assisting with projects such as imaging, managing, and/or deploying customer workstations and peripherals; performing initial diagnosis for troubleshooting user account problems and providing workstation user network account support; and assisting with Installation, troubleshooting and/or updating certified Commercial-Off-the-Shelf (COTS) and customized software.

Education: One of the following types of education in a related field (e.g., Information Technology, Computer Science): a Master's degree or equivalent graduate degree, OR 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to a master's degree or equivalent graduate degree. Degree must be in computer science, engineering, information science, information systems management, mathematics, operations research, statistics, or technology management or degree that provided a minimum of 24 semester hours in one or more of the fields identified above and required the development or adaptation of applications, systems or networks.
GS-11:Specialized Experience: At least one full year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-9 grade level in Federal service.
